The Business Manager provides leadership for the business operations of Pre-Surgery, Surgical Services, PACU, Endoscopy, and sterile processing to ensure high quality, cost effective, customer-focused care is delivered. The Business Manager of Surgical Services is responsible for the strategic development of the surgical services program and accountable for the operational management of this program. Responsibilities include business planning, budgeting, facilitating physician relations, informing strategic market opportunities, delegating day to day workload and performance responsibilities and directing these services in a cost effective and fully compliant manner. The Business Manager will be responsible for cross-departmental collaboration. Physician relations will be central to the success of program development. The Business Manager of Surgical Services works with the Director of Surgical Services to design, develop, and implement the mission for patient-centered care.
Minimum Education : BS in IT, Business or Finance/Management. MBA or MHA preferred
Minimum Experience: 2 years' experience in health care setting with experience in budgeting, statistics, systems analysis and or project management.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to turn data into actionable information
